Gee, Cindy, thanks for your oh-so-subtle hint that I get my butt back to my blog.
Nana thought it might be interesting to see one of my synopses. I’ll try to post the overview for my three-book series that I sent to Berkley. Anyone else interested in seeing it? I know when I was trying to get published I always liked to see what other authors sent to publishers.
Michele, thanks for recommending my books. And I don’t think I answered your question about critique groups. I’ll have to go look. If I didn’t, I’ll talk about critique groups sometime this week.
Shalla, thanks for passing on the book suggestions.
Abby is doing well, but jeez a kitten is exhausting. I find myself living for her nap times. I’ve got the fastest squirt-bottle in the west. She’s a sweetheart, but she’s into everything. At least my place is getting neater and neater because I’m clearing all surfaces of anything that could possibly interest her (that would be everything). But I have to admit she is soooo cute.
Anyone have a clever idea for a title about a vampire and a food critic? Dorchester and I had settled on Taste of Darkness, but now I’m rethinking that title. It sounds really dark, and anyone who’s read my stuff knows that dark is not where I’m at. I’d like something that says funny vampire romance. For example, Kerrelyn Sparks’s book, HOW TO MARRY A MILLIONAIRE VAMPIRE, says it all. Lynsay Sands, Katie MacAlister, and MaryJanice Davidson have some cool vampire titles. I WANT ONE TOO! I could be veryveryvery generous to someone who found the perfect title for me (please don’t make me beg). This book is the sequel to Night Bites and takes place at the Woo Woo Inn.
As far as my WIP, I’m fifteen pages away from the end. This has been my hardest book to write to date. I haven’t a clue why. I hope the last book in the series is easier. The title for this book is WICKED PLEASURE, but I can’t change it now because they’ve already done the cover.

I was checking out your site for the first time this morning and, because I am a blog addict, ended up here.
I have a suggestion for the title of your vampire and the food critic story — Bon Appeteeth.
Okay, I’m pretty title impaired but thought I’d throw it out there.
Nice site btw.

LOL on the title!
Nope, I don’t remember my "critique" questions getting answered.
I LOVED How to Marry a MV!!I did a blurb on my blog as soon as I read it…got 2 other people to read the book too. One of them was also the one I got to read yours as well.
I’ll read anything you feel like sharing.
Titles: whoa, tough one.
I’m worse than horrible, but maybe something will spark a muse…or not.
Critical Bites(nibbles?)
The Vampires’ Main Dish?
If the lead’s name was Sherry we could say
Our special today is:
Braised Vamp with Sherry
The Critic a la Creme?
A Critical Taste?
Come Taste Test Vampire a le Creme?
What does Darkness taste like?
The Food Critic vs. a Darkness Trifle?
Critics Choice?
How to choose dark chocolate over a Vampire?
Dark Choice: Chocolate vs. Vampire
A Critics view of Vampire Gumbo?
A Critical pain in the neck?
That just about wraps up my paltry, boring attempts…I think I’d go with the first Comment…THAT was funny!

How about Love Bites? (It keeps continuity, and it does imply eating.)Recipes of the Night? Nibbles in the Night? Taste of Trouble? (If you want to tone down that darkness thing, although I think that anyone who wants to try and reform Reine is seriously dealing with darkness and trouble).
Another author suggestion: Kim Harrison. (Dead Witch Walking and 2 others)Really dark, but VERY good. Her take on vampires is pretty cool too.
