Looking for something interesting to talk about

I got a reprieve from my Berkley editor. She said I could send in my manuscript after the RWA conference because she wouldn’t have a chance to read it until then anyway. Woohoo! By the way, I won’t be at the conference this year, so if anyone comes back with any juicy gossip, pass it my way.

I have to take Abby to the vet on Monday to be spayed. From the way I’m worrying, you’d think she was going in for major surgery. It’s amazing how attached you can get to a small animal.

I just got my new Oreck vacuum, and I can’t wait to try it out. You’ll never hear nonsense like that from me again, so enjoy it. Of course, I’ll have to pick up a few things so I can find the floor. Ahem.

It won’t be long before the August books start showing up in stores. So far I know I’ll be waiting for A Taste of Crimson by Marjorie M. Liu and How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire by Kerrelyn Sparks. Any other suggestions? Oh, and my friend, Kimberly Raye, has a funny sexy contemporary release, Sweet as Sugar, Hot as Spice, out in August.

Anyone have anything interesting happening in their life? Feel free to jump in and tell us about it. I mean, it has to be more interesting than me telling you about my new Oreck.

  1. :hehe:
Hey, thanks for the suggestions for my TBR pile!
I am SO happy you adopted Abby…I kinda thought you might. She’ll do fine at the vet. Nerve-wrackig to be sure- but you’ll do fine too.
Anything interesting? Nope, not really. I have some pics on my blog of the Renfest I went to July 4th weekend. It was my first. Had a blast.

Don’t downplay the important of a new toy. Your Oreck qualifies. I know I felt that way when I got my new Vaccuum, my blender, my new computer, bed…anything new that I get to use is always a treat. New things are usually better, bigger with new gadets and powers. Like" oooh, a HEPA filer!" or "OOH Cool, my new vaccuum has its own little light!" Now the dirt is Spotlighted and it can’t hide from me now!…*evil laugh*
Sometimes the excitement you make yourself is pretty darn good!
    Enjoy!
