Rushing in and rushing out
I’m so sorry I’ve abandoned everyone, but from now until October I have TOO MANY DEADLINES! Ack! I’m just finishing up Wicked Pleasure, which is due to my editor, well, today, but won’t actually be done until next week. Then I have a novella due in September. Is that all? No. My Dorchester book, Taste of Darkness, is due October 25 at the latest. Have I started the novella? Uh, no. How much of the October book have I written? Don’t ask. Will I survive this? Absolutely not. So I’ll probably just stop by now and then to wring my hands and cry a lot.
I’ve officially adopted the kitten I wrote about in an earlier entry. Her new name is Abby. I named her after Art Bell’s cat that died on the same day I agreed to kitty-sit her for a week. Art Bell is the weekend host of the radio show Coast to Coast AM. Abby is a sweet kitten, and the name seemed right for her personality.
What am I reading? Not much. No time, no time. The last book I read was Robin D. Owens’s Heart Choice. Great book. I’ve enjoyed all of her Heart books.
